The professional and friendly doctors and staff at Highlands General Practice provide a comprehensive range of general practice services for our patients across all stages and phases of their lives. In addition to providing acute care services we also focus on preventative care and chronic disease management.

Please be advised that Highlands GP is a privately billing practice and all billings are at the discretion of your doctor, including Telehealth appointments. Only children under 12 are routinely bulk billed. If you are experiencing genuine financial hardship, please discuss this with your doctor during your consultation.

 

Women's Health

We have highly experienced doctors available with a special interest in Women’s Health, including menopause management and ante natal care services.

Men's Health

We offer a range of services that provide opportunities to have routine checks and screening to support a more proactive approach to managing your healthcare.

Child and Adolescent Services

We offer a range of services to help support your child’s health, development and wellbeing from infancy to adolescence, including immunisations.

Skin Clinic

Skin Cancer Checks are an important preventative health care tool and regular skin checks are recommend for our patients. Visit our dedicated skin cancer clinic.

Travel Clinic

The Highlands General Practice Travel Clinic are highly qualified and experienced and will provide accurate and up to date advice tailored to your travel plans.

Occupational Medical Services

Services include Pre-Placement Medical Assessments, Routine Medical Assessments including drivers and aviation medicals, treatment of work related injury and illness, and health related educational services.

Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth appointments are available for all routine appointments including:

  • Mental Health Appointments
  • Care Plans
  • Prescriptions
  • Referrals

We would encourage our patients to make the change to telehealth appointments so we can continue to provide you with the health care and management you need. This is even more important for our patients who may be feeling very isolated so they stay connected during these unprecedented times. Please do not put off our health or delay seeing your GP if you are concerned about coming into the practice. 

We are still seeing patients at the practice if a Telehealth appointment is not appropriate, but please contact the practice to discuss prior to making your appointments.
